The FDA has a firm stance on autologous stem cells. These are stem cells which are removed from a person, stored, and later given back to that same person. This stem cell transplantation is frowned upon by the FDA. However, at Regenerative Northwest Medicine we strictly use umbilical cord stem cells. Umbilical cord stem cells are derived from donations. A healthy mother will donate her stem cells after giving birth to a healthy baby. The stem cells we use only come from FDA approved labs and tissue banks. We ensure the stem cells that are given to our patients are properly screened and derived from regulated labs. To learn more about stem cell therapy visit our FAQ page.
